To amplify the first sentence at the top of the page, Dr. Stephen Baig, the expert at the National Hurricane Center that specializes in the SLOSH model and storm surge, has indicated that the model is accurate to about 20%.

Also, the first sentence in the paragraph labeled “Moving water” should say, “A mound of water is pushed with the storm along by the hurricane’s strong winds”. The word “by” was left out.
